Radio 538 wanted to become Nr.1 Radio station in Holland and smoothly move into the daily lives of the younger generation. TURN ME ON slogan needed more then just a slogan. It needed the the culture around it and a strong visual expression.
A very small drawing out of my notebook was translated by the industrial designer into a wearable helmets with a sentiment of an oldschool radio/stereo player. This art directional concept was strong enough to carry it’s narrative through out all the visual media we used for communication.
From TVC’s, posters, digiatal, events, media appearances...all of them logo of 538 that became alive.
This concept resulted in having Radio538 as Nr.1 for many years and a solid recognition still today.
