    Brand strategy

    This is a center for science and playground for the inquisit and analytical minds. Proud to have a free spirited Amsterdam heratige, UvA is a great competitor to other Dutch and International Universities.

    By taking in consideration their new corporate story and by digging into the world of UvA, we have developed the platform ‘We are U’. This truly reflects the UvA mentality and Amsterdam heratige in one.

    UvA people are critical thinkers, who dare to face confrontations and initiate discussions. From future students, Bachelors, Masters, professors, reserachers, PhD’s, assistants, alumni, national, international, all united under one umbrella: ‘We are U’.

    The strategy was developed by 210KG and Bourne Design.

     

    Creative and execution

    Together with top photographer Alek and David Cohen de Lara, I visualised and Art Directed this in a nation wide campaign making the University’s story more clear, younger, more personal and less corporate.

    The art direction of the visual identity is applied on all the levels of University’s communication. With this the total look was renewed and refreshed with the art direction as a strong communication tool for several years.

    During that time, I have developed various UvA campaigns on all the levels accross a total media scope from above the line, digital, events, applications and many more. Each of those created out of most important drive - having a dialogue with the youth.
